There are two routes to Mmelesi Lodge, both tarred and easy to follow:
The first route is a scenic trip through fields and valleys. It is 7.5 km shorter than the second. 4.3 km from the Catholic Cathedral in Maseru along the Mafeteng road, you turn left. This route crosses the Phuthiatsana river and after further 5.1 km you reach an intersection. At the intersection turn left and 3.6 km further, on your right you will find Mmelesi Lodge.
The second route follows the same Mafeteng exit from Maseru. Instead of turning left, as in the previous route, follow the road south. Turn left at the old Caltex gas station and take the Roma direction . Along this road, about 18.6 km from Maseru is the Makhalanyane trading store. Here turn left again into the Thaba Bosiu road, which takes you 12.1 km further to Mmelesi Lodge.
